maloco + associates suffered a feeling of deja vu on Friday at a gala lunch ceremony at Edinburgh's EICC. Short listed in the Property Team of The Year category the firm came runners up to Simpson & Marwick of Edinburgh as they had done in 2008!
Senior Partner Michael Maloco joked, " I am getting sick of these guys! Why don't they pick on someone their own size? Joking apart we are clearly disappointed not to have won, but being the only Fife practice to be short listed and to get close to Simpson & Marwick who are a firm of 16 partners and 138 years established, is an achievement. Its a huge credit to our team that we are in such illustrious company .
The firm's submission centred around its 4 years as West Fife's top selling ESPC agency and their year on year growth and circa. 27% market share.
Property Director Aileen McFarlan added " It would have been nice to have won especially having lost out to the same firm just two years ago. It shows we can still improve and that is what we will do. We have a winning mentality within the team. We deploy this on a daily basis for our clients and if we continue to do so I am sure further recognition of the practice will follow"
