maloco + associates voted winner at

the 2009 Estate Agency of the Year Awards

 

maloco + associates received the ultimate industry accolade on  Friday by being crowned as the winner of Best Scottish Estate Agency at the 2009 Estate Agency of the Year Awards in association with The Sunday Times, held at the Chelsea Football Club’s presentation suite at Stamford Bridge.

 

The event, now in its sixth year, was this year supported for the first time by The Sunday Times and is widely recognised as the most important in the industry calendar.  The sold out event attracted agents representing over 4,000 branches nationwide and in a sign of improving times for the market, this year received a record number of award entries.  The winners of the 28 categories at the award ceremony were presented with their awards by television personality Penny Smith.

 

Following their initial submissions, each of these winners has been subjected to rigorous scrutiny by a panel of independent industry experts and the whole judging process is overseen by the Property Ombudsman Christopher Hamer.

 

maloco + associates were delighted to receive the award.   Senior partner Michael Maloco commented:  “ We are thrilled to have won this award.  It’s a wonderful achievement for the team who have produced great results in the most challenging of markets.  All in all 2009 is proving to be a good year for both us and our clients.  The ESPC recently confirmed that to date we have sold more homes than any other member firm and this is now four years running we have managed this.  To receive this recognition at this time is a real boost and will only make us more determined than ever to deliver a quality client focused service next year and beyond”

 

The judges’ report highlighted the particular qualities of maloco + associates  stating, “ Drive, commitment and a thorough knowledge of the essential elements of good agency shone out.  The team is clearly knowledgeable and focused on client service to a level too seldom seen.  Their results and market share bear testimony to team spirit and leadership”
